Web design has come a long way in the past 10 years—some ways good and some ways bad. The web has gone from being a text–only medium to one that is filled with graphics, animation, and sound. While these can certainly enhance the user experience, they can also smother it.
A web sites' primary purpose is to pass along
content
, not fluff.
While we strive to make our sites able to stand on content alone, we also realize that proper presentation is crucial to a sites' success; this balance where one compliments the other instead of taking over is what we aim for.
A simple, consistant, attractive layout will get your point across
more effectivly than an animation–laden site with a confusing navigation structure.
We also work diligently to keep the size of the site as small as possible in order to avoid extensive download times. This means optimizing all graphics for web use, properly coding the site, and only using high bandwidth using technologies as needed.
Past work
If you are interested in having a web site developed then please take a moment to look at some of our past work.
